I’m in Love With Chick-fil-A

My heart soars when folks stand up for biblical values.  It’s so uncommon these days, but Chick-fil -A  CEO Dan Cathy is taking the narrow road and rejecting the popular culture. I’m so proud of him and pray that his business grows leaps and bounds. Our family plans to enjoy dinner there this week in order to combat some of the boycotts that are planned. Evidently the liberal media and homosexual communities are having fits because  this man  has a moral compass and standard that is different from their own.  Dan Cathy is under persecution now for following his convictions and using his protected first amendment rights to express his beliefs. Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel, plans to block Chick-fil-A from building any restaurants in his city because Mr. Cathay’s  values do not reflect those of Chicago. The Homosexual Community plans on mocking the CEO (and God..by the way) by hosting a national same sex kiss day; there are many calls for boycotting this restaurant as well.
Some of my favorite Dan Cathy quotes are:

“That we might glorify God by being a faithful steward in all that is entrusted to our care, and that we might have a positive influence on all the people that we might come in contact with.”

“A person’s morals are demonstrated daily through our personal lives. In my personal life, I really try to live up to our Corporate Purpose.”

“I think we’re inviting God’s judgment when we shake our fist at him, you know? ‘We know better than you as to what constitutes a marriage.’ And I pray on God’s mercy on our generation, that has such a prideful, arrogant attitude to think that we would have the audacity to try and redefine what marriage is all about.”

“We know that it might not be popular with everyone, but thank the Lord, we live in a country where we can share our values and operate on biblical principles.”
